Particularly in the case of Ecuador, inequalities are reflected in the patterns of spatial organization and in the significant differences between the different rates and levels of development and economic growth of the different territorial units.
To reduce inequality structurally, we need to equalize opportunities through improved access to health and quality education. This is more relevant in the context of the pandemic that has exacerbated the differences in the problem of access and quality. Also something important would be to contribute to the environment since it is necessary to have a place with good condition for everyone.
